More Capacity.
Same Commitment to Precision.
Another Mitsubishi MV4800 Wire EDM machine is joining the NJ Precision Technologies,Inc. production floor — bringing greater capacity, scheduling flexibility, and large-part capability to the Wire EDM department.
NJ Precision Technologies, Inc. (NJPT) is excited to announce the addition of another Mitsubishi MV4800 Wire EDM machine, expanding from four to five large-part machining centers.
At NJPT, growth means more than adding equipment. It means expanding capacity, increasing flexibility, and creating more opportunities to take on challenging parts that meet the demanding requirements across high-precision industries.
This investment strengthens NJPT’s ability to support customers with larger workpieces involving complex geometries and tight tolerances, supported by more than 50 EDM machines in-house.
Adding another MV4800 allows for increased throughput while maintaining the precision and consistency that customers expect.
More available Wire EDM capacity for ongoing production.
Greater flexibility for urgent, repeat, and high-volume work.
Support for larger, taller, and more demanding workpieces.
Multiple MV4800 machines help maintain production continuity.
Rather than relying on a single machine for demanding work, multiple MV4800 machines give greater flexibility to keep jobs moving and opportunity to respond more efficiently to changing production requirements.
One of the most exciting capabilities of the MV4800 is its ability to accommodate significantly larger workpieces.
The new machine can support components reaching up to 20 inches tall, opening the door to larger housings, tall aerospace components, complex tooling, large industrial parts, and other applications that may not fit on the average Wire EDM equipment.
For customers with difficult-to-machine or oversized components, that added work envelope can make a major difference.
Wire EDM is especially valuable when conventional machining methods struggle with intricate profiles, sharp internal corners, hardened materials, or demanding tolerances.
Whether the job involves a large industrial component or a highly detailed precision part, the additional MV4800 helps us take on more work without sacrificing quality.
Provide more capability without compromising precision.
More machines mean more scheduling flexibility, greater production capacity, and additional options when customers need challenging work completed efficiently.
NJPT’s Wire EDM capabilities support customers across a wide range of precision-driven industries where accuracy, repeatability, material performance, and reliability are critical.
One of the best ways to understand the capability of the MV4800 is to see the size of the parts it can accommodate.
From large impeller-style components to tall precision housings and complex aerospace parts, the machine’s work envelope allows us to take on projects reaching 20 inches in height while still delivering the precision associated with Wire EDM.

The addition of another Mitsubishi MV4800 is part of NJPT’s continued investment in advanced manufacturing technology, increased capacity, and improved service for the customers.
Most importantly, NJPT remains committed to delivering the precision and consistency customers have come to expect.
