ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINES

WIRE EDM:

• (1) Mitsubishi FA-20S 5 Axis Wire EDM Machine 19.69 x 13.77 x 18.00 inch X, Y, Z machining range and extended tilt to 45 degrees. Automatic wire threader, submerged arc, and anti-electrolysis power supply.
• (4) Mitsubishi FA-20 5-axis Wire EDM Machine 19.69 x 13.77 x 11.85 inch X, Y, Z machining range. Automatic wire threader, submerged arc, and anti-electrolysis power supply.
• (2) Mitsubishi FA-10 5-axis Wire EDM Machine 13.77 x 9.8 x 8.66 inch X, Y, Z machining range. Automatic wire threader, submerged arc, and anti-electrolysis power supply.

TOOL ROOM FACILITIES

CNC MILLING:

• (6) HAAS VF-2 Vertical Machining Center. 30 x 16 x 20 inch X, Y, Z machining range, 20 position tool changer and Renisaw infrared inspection probe.
• (1) HAAS VF-3 Vertical Machining Center. 40 x 20 x 25 inch machining range, 20 positions tool changer, pallet system and Renishaw inspection probe.
• (1) HAAS Minimill Vertical Machining Center. 16 x 12 x 10 inch machining range, 10 position tool changer, and Renisaw inspection probe.

MILLING:

• Brown & Sharpe horizontal milling machine. Bridgeport and Kondia vertical milling machines with DRO and power feeds.

GRINDING:

• Kent 12 x 24 automatic surface grinder with digital readout and programmable roughing, finishing and spark out cycles.
• (4) South bend 6-18 precision surface grinders with central dust collection system.

TURNING:

• HAAS SL-30 CNC Turning Center.
• HAAS SL-10 CNC Turning Center.
• Engine lathes up to 15-inch swing x 60-inch bed with turret and grinding capabilities.

DRILLING:

• Multispindle drill presses with adjustable spindle and table.

SAWS:

• Vertical and horizontal band saws.

FINISHING:

• Belt and disc sanders
•  48" bead blast cabinet.

INSPECTION:

• Class 10,000 clean room for inspection. Brown & Sharpe Reverse Engineering-Digitizing CMM,  Nikon optical vision inspection system, 75 power Sony color vision system, optical comparators, calipers, Mitutoyo digital height gauge, gauge blocks, plug gauges, hardness tester.

COMPUTERS:

• 18 IBM-compatible color graphics CAD/CAM systems with 2D and 3D design capabilities and post-processing software for up to five axis machine tools. Most data formats accepted.

POWER PRESSES:

• AMADA SPH30 Hydraulic CNC 2 axis programmable brake and triple track turret.
• Bench top power presses up to five tons and prototype presses.
